Swiss MatChem Symposium 2025
25. June 2025, Adolphe-Merkle Institute, Fribourg
The 2nd Swiss Symposium on Materials Chemistry 2025 (MatChem25) with a linked Summer School is one of the major events organized by the SCS Division of Materials Chemistry. The symposium dives into the future of sustainable materials, focusing on advanced characterization techniques and their role in paving the path for several breakthroughs in material science.
These techniques can be used on a wide variety of materials, from inorganic nanocrystals to soft materials, revolutionizing our understanding and enabling novelties for many pivotal applications. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore cutting-edge advancements in the field through a diverse program that includes invited talks by leading scientists and oral presentations from selected PhD students and postdocs, as well as a dynamic poster session.
The program includes keynote lectures, invited lectures, contributed lectures by PhD students and postdocs, as well as a poster session. There are ample networking opportunities during lunch, coffee breaks, and the concluding aperitif.
